New summer school campaign
Feedback from our 2017 stakeholder event was that summer courses are an important part of London's offer. In response, we launched a new campaign in February to promote London’s summer schools internationally. Our new campaign microsite features the fantastic range of summer school courses on offer in London from music to game theory and veterinary medicine, plus much more.
The microsite features more than 30 London institutions and the content has also been shared on our Chinese website, London.cn. Student testimonials provide the all-important personal touch: find them on the student experiences section.
We have been busy promoting the campaign video across social channels in our target markets: the US, India, France and Germany, and a Chinese subtitled version on Sina Weibo. Help promote the benefits of coming to London by using the hashtag #LondonSummerSchools as part of your own activity, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram. In China, use #伦敦暑期夏令营# (London summer school) and #暑假游学伦敦# (study/discover London this summer) on Weibo.
The summer school campaign has currently reached more than 2.5m prospective students globally. The campaign video has had more than half a million views and there have been over 9,000 clicks to London university websites from our summer school microsite. The campaign will run until the end of May with a view to making this an annual feature in future.
