London & Partners is running the London Tourism Awards in association with the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.

The awards recognise, congratulate and celebrate businesses that deliver amazing experiences for visitors in London and champion innovation. Eligible winners across the 12 categories will be automatically put forward to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2020. 

The London Tourism Award categories

  11. Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Award
  12. International Tourism Award

Entries are now closed, our judges are currently reviewing the applications and shortlisting those for the next stage. The winners will be announced in due course.

Hanneke Dannhorn: MD and owner of one of Brook Green UK DMC.

Leigh Butterfield: One of the founding partners of 2B UK. Leigh was previously Managing Director at AlliedPRA UK, a global DMC network.

Nick Bodger: Cultural and Visitor Development Director at the City of London Corporation.

Dr Andrew Smith: The co-leader of the Tourism and Events Research Group at the University of Westminster. Andrew has published research specialising in city tourism.

Mark Taylor: The CEO of the Queen Elizabeth II Centre. Mark also sits on the board of London & Partners, Visit Britain and Meetings Industry Association.

Bernard Donoghue: Director of ALVA and Mayor of London’s ambassador for Cultural Tourism.

Jackie Boughton: Head of Business Events at The Barbican and features in C&IT’s Top 50 most influential people in the UK Meetings and Events Industry.

Helen Maher: Director of Market Management at Expedia.

Paul Miller: Managing Director, Spectra, a full service DMC.

Linda Plant: For Global Head of Sales, Director of Marketing and now Director of Strategic Relations at Edwardian Hotels London.

John MccLean: Previously director of F&B at the Lanesborough and The Grove, and now hotel manager of Brown’s Hotel, Mayfair.

Lisa Barreno: Travel and Tourism Consultant with over 25 years experience including the Discover England Fund project.
