Travel Trade Overview
Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of Her Majesty The Queen and serves as both a home and office.
Visitors can tour the magnificent State Rooms, lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection. Visitors can enjoy refreshments in the Garden Café overlooking the splendid lake and garden.
Each year Buckingham Palace hosts a special exhibition as part of the summer opening. The exhibition changes each year, but always provides a fascinating glimpse into royal life.
This year's special exhibition, Royal Gifts, tells the story of The Queen's reign through a wide-ranging display of official gifts presented to Her Majesty during the past 65 years. The exhibition includes gifts from world leaders such as former President John F. Kennedy, former South African President Nelson Mandela and President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China.
