ExCel London has been crowned the best meetings and conference centre in Europe at the prestigious World Travel Awards.
The venue beat competition from Convention Centre Dublin, ICC Berlin, Fira Barcelona, Palais Des Congres de Paris, Fiera Milano City and Geneva Palexpo.
It is the fourth year in a row ExCel has won the title and will now go through to the final round of voting for the ultimate accolade in the travel and tourism industry of World’s Best. This will be announced at the Grand Final ceremony in December.

The meetings industry generates £5.6 billion for the capital’s economy, according to a recent UK Economic Impact Study.
London hosts over 350,000 meetings per year and has over 2,700 venues with over 110,000 hotel rooms for delegates.
The World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. Today, the WTA brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.
