Calendar: 2016 International Sporting and Cultural Events in London

From mass spectator events to music festivals, London will host a wealth of major events over the coming year and beyond.

The list below shows all the major events currently taking place in London during 2016.

London has already won bids to host a number of high-profile sporting fixtures up to 2020, including being the first city to host both the 2017 World Athletics Championships and 2017 IPC Athletics World Championships. Some others to note are the 2018 Women’s Hockey World Cup, ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and UEFA Euro 2020 semi-finals and finals.
