Palace Theatre Overview
Originally built by Richard D’Oyly Carte in 1891 as the Royal English Opera House, it was later renamed the Palace Theatre of Varieties and featured stars such as Marie Lloyd, Buster Keaton and Nijinski. The Palace Theatre was restored to it former Victorian splendour in 2004. Set in the heart of the West End it is a short walk from Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus and has an auditorium capacity of 1356.
