London & Partners' FDI Partners are experts in their field and have significant track records of assisting foreign companies into London.

We have established these relationships on the basis that we want to make sure that London delivers and offers you the best platform to make your entry a success. Clients of London & Partners are not obligated in any way to work with our partners and if you have your own contacts or relationships which you are comfortable working with then this absolutely acceptable. What we will endeavour to do is introduce you to areas where you may not yet have a relationships and where assistance is required.

We ask our partners to adhere to five guiding principles:

Principle One - Qualified for the job

Partners undertake only to accept those assignments for which they can provide the appropriate experience, competence and organisation capabilities to complete the work to the satisfaction of the Client.

Principle Two - Clients Interests

Partners will endeavour to protect the interests of their Clients at all times. They shall discharge their duties with complete fidelity and shall not disclose, without the Clients prior authority, information or opinions relating to the Client or the Clients business, obtained in the course of their duties unless such information is in the public domain.

Principle Three - Independence

Partners undertake to give independent advice. Where potential conflicts of interest arise prior to, or during an assignment, the Partner shall inform the Client.

Principle Four - Provision of Services

Partners will endeavour to ensure that a clear definition of the provision of services, terms of engagement, objectives and scope of work and basis of payment of fees has been made prior to the commencement of an assignment.

Principle Five - Professional Integrity

Partners undertake to act with professional integrity and to exercise reasonable skill and care and to observe the standards and codes of practice of their own professions.

In addition to our principles we ask our partners to provide credible and documented evidence so that they can be assessed and approved by us to meet a guaranteed level of service for our clients. Typically this involves London & Partners holding the following documentation:

  • Equality and Diversity Procedures
  • Complaints Procedures
  • Quality Management or ISO standards that the company has met or comply with
  • CSR
  • Trade Affiliations (incl. industry bodies, professional bodies, solicitors Regulation Authority etc) or Code of Conduct
  • Sustainability, procedures or practices adopted
  • Two written client testimonials

Our values as an organisation are very important to us and we ask our partners to:

  • Commit to giving clients suitable and accurate independent advice at a cost which is comparable to the general market
  • Commit to attending an initial face-to-face meeting for up to 1 hour with a company at no charge. This initial meeting needs to be attended at an appropriate level e.g. Director/ Partner/Senior Executive within the organisation
  • Commit to see clients within five working days of any referral

Fees

London & Partners overriding responsibility is towards its clients and making their operation in London a success. Partners pay an annual subscription which is based upon their number of UK employees. This fee entitles them to a range of services provided by London & Partners in addition to introductions to appropriate client opportunities.
